LA8AJA portable on 144MHz, JP50GQ, 722 m.a.s.l.

As it says on the picture, the name of the qth is Lauvhøgda. It's only a few kilometers away from my qth, but it's an enourmous difference working 2M from up there, compared to my homeqth, JP50HQ. I've been up there several times working the NAC tests on 2M, but it wasn't until the July test in 2001 I brought a camera.
You might have worked me from this QTH once. I worked from it in the tests listed under NAC 2M reports.
The top has a 30M high tower with commercial antennas. I don't know what they are used for. A few meters away, there is a firetower made out of wood. When the weather is good, I set up the equipment there. The horizon is good in all directions. The beacons I can hear, is SK4MPI (JP70nj), LA2VHF (JP53eg) and LA8VHF (JO48xx). In July 2002 I copied DL0PR (JO44) during the whole NAC test.I have tested which repeaters I can reach from this QTH.

Depending on conditions, and also perhaps with a little more beaming, I might reach a few more. I find this QTH quite fascinating :-)
